Privacy Policy

LoL Match Tracker ("the extension") is a fan-made browser extension. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

Free Tier — No Personal Data Collected

If you use the free tier of LoL Match Tracker, no personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted to any server beyond what is required to fetch match schedule data.

Specifically:

The extension fetches match schedule data from our Cloudflare Worker endpoint. This request contains no personally identifiable information.
Your selected team preference is stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local and never leaves your device.
No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs are included.

Pro Tier — Account Data

If you upgrade to Pro, the following data is collected and stored:

Email address — used to create your account and link your subscription. Stored in Supabase (our authentication provider).
Subscription status — whether your account is on the free or Pro plan. Updated via Stripe webhooks when you subscribe or cancel.
Tracked teams — the list of up to 5 teams you choose to follow. Stored in Supabase to enable cross-device sync.
Notification preferences — your chosen notification timing and spoiler-free settings. Stored in Supabase for cross-device sync.

We do not collect passwords in plain text. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, which stores password hashes using bcrypt.

Payment Data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe provides us only with a customer ID and subscription status. For Stripe's privacy policy, visit stripe.com/privacy.

Third-Party Services

Cloudflare Workers — hosts our match schedule API. Requests are anonymous and contain no personal data.
Supabase — hosts our database and authentication for Pro accounts. Data is stored in the EU (Ireland) region.
Stripe — processes subscription payments.
Riot Games LoL Esports API — public API used to fetch match schedule data. No user data is sent to this API.

Data Retention

If you cancel your Pro subscription and request account deletion, your email, tracked teams, and preferences will be deleted from our database within 30 days. Contact us at find.shaunford@gmail.com to request deletion.

Notifications Permission

The extension requests browser notification permission solely to deliver pre-match alerts for teams you are tracking. Notification content is generated locally from the cached schedule — it is not fetched from a remote server at the moment of delivery.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
